Merrimack Scores with Derring

Proctor Academy and Middlesex Magic guard Mykel Derring announced his verbal commitment to Merrimack College on Wednesday. 

His decision comes less than a week after Merrimack announced an inviation to join the Northeast Conference and transition all of their NCAA sports to the division I level. 

Derring confirmed his decision via his twitter account. 

One of the most potent three-point shooters in all of New England, with an equally dangerous pull-up game, Derring was a key member of the rotation for a Middlesex Magic team that had a phenominal summer, winning championships at the HGSL, Big Apple Showcase, and then the Prime Event in Orlando.
