McCord NESCAC Bound
Westford Academy senior big man Eric McCord made a verbal commitment to Middlebury earlier this month, pending acceptance of his early decision application.
The six-foot-seven big man is a true post player who should be able to provide a scoring threat on the block, quality post defender, and high volume rebounder.
McCord is a product of the Boston Warriors AAU program and was a standout at both the Elite 75 College Showcase last July as well as the All-Academic Camp.
McCord becomes the second Warriors product in as many years to commit to Middlebury, joining current freshman Nick Tarantino.
Middlebury is part of the NESCAC, one of the top academic and athletic conferences in all of division III.
