Mann Earns Scholarship

Lawrence Academy senior forward Martin Mann announced a verbal commitment to Pace University on Tuesday night.

Pace is a division II school in New York that competes in the Northeast 10 Conference along with a variety of other New England based schools.

Mann took to his twitter account to announe his decision.

Mann saw a revitalization of sorts this summer as he joined the D.C. Blue Devils and helped them to the championship of the BasketBull National Invitational as well as the finals of the Big Apple Summer Showcase, earning division I offers along the way.

He went on to have a big senior season for Lawrence Academy, helping the team return to the NEPSAC Class AA tournament for the first time in recent years and being named All-New England honorable mention.

The 6-foot-7 forward has a combination of size and athleticism that should make him even more valuable at the next level. He's very mobile and agile for his size, providing him potential value and versatility on the defensive end. He also has the ability to run the floor, crash the glass, and score in various ways from the mid-range and in.
