Maker Earns Scholarship

Bradford Christian School and Mass Rivals forward Mo2 Maker announced his commitment to Franklin Pierce University on Friday afternoon in a ceremony at West High School in his hometown of Manchester, New Hampshire.

Maker put up huge numbers, both scoring and rebounding, during his first season in the prep ranks last season but took his recruitment to brand new levels this spring and summer on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit.

Maker's calling card is his motor. He plays extremely hard every minute he's on the court and truly sprints the floor at every opportunity. His face-up skill set continues to evolve but given his work ethic he projects as a versatile offensive threat down the road. A true two-way player, he's a versatile and impactful defender as well as a high volume rebounder.

He's an undeniable steal at the division II level after landing multiple division I offers this spring and summer when he helped the Rivals earn four different championships, including both the Adidas Gauntlet Finale and Adidas Summer Championship in Las Vegas.

He becomes the 6th member of the Rivals' 2017 class to commit to a division I or II program joining Makai Ashton-Langford (UConn), Wabissa Bede (Virginia Tech), Aaron Wheeler (Purdue), Azar Swain (Yale) and Tamenang Choh (Brown).
