Mading Makes His Pick
Springfield Commonwealth forward Marial Mading announced his verbal commitment to the University of Rhode Island on Tuesday morning.
Mading arrived at SCA mid-way through last season and has shown rapid improvement ever since.
The 6-foot-9 forward has major mismatch potential as he continues to fill out his frame and show increasingly frequent signs of playmaking ability and even a passing instinct off the dribble.
He spent the summer starring for L&L Running Rebels, and picked up his Rhode offer during the July evaluation period. First year head coach David Cox and his staff have made him a top priority ever since.
