Limric makes late pledge to Quinnipiac

East Catholic senior Brody Limric made a verbal commitment to Quinnipiac as part of their 2021 recruiting class just a few days after officially visiting their campus.

Limric is a 6-foot-8 big man who was named All-State in the CIAC this year and had planned to do a post-grad year at St. Andrew's, despite holding two other D1 offers in 2021.

The late third invitation from Quinnipiac though changed those plans as the bouncy big man is now set to join Baker Dunleavy's incoming freshman class next season.

He came up the ranks playing his AAU basketball for Connecticut Elite before starting this spring with House We Built and recently suiting up for BABC.

Limric is very quick off his feet athletically, but he also possesses a developing shooting touch which should make him a versatile frontcourt piece down the road as he continues to build up his body.

Limric's commitment also makes it five consecutive seasons that East Catholic has now produced a division I player, a streak unmatched anywhere in any of New England's six state associations (non prep).
