Lee’s Ngopot Makes Late D1 Pledge
Lee Academy big man Jerry Ngopot will play division I basketball next year after all.
After it was initially announced that the 6-foot-10 big man would sign with Dawson Community College, yesterday he made a commitment to Saint Peter's.
A native of the Senegal, Ngopot participated in both the NBA's Basketball Without Borders and NBA Academy Africa prior to arriving at Lee Academy.
He has tremendous size, a naturally strong frame, and a deveoping skill set both facing the basket and with his back to it.
Ngopot becomes the third member of Lee's 2021 class to commit to a division I school.
