Ledo to Providence Back On

When Ricardo Ledo first committed to Providence College it was the night of Christmas Eve.

His second commitment to his hometown school came on Labor Day.

Just four days after he cancelled a press conference where he was scheduled to announce his commitment to the Friars, Ledo gave his word on Monday.

Now the question becomes when will he arrive at Providence and where will he head in the interim.

ESPN's Andy Katz is reporting that Ledo may not return to Notre Dame Prep as originally planned and may instead investigate scenarios that could get him to Providence for the second semester of the upcoming 2011-2012 season.

Ledo becomes the second highly touted local product to commit to new Providence head coach Ed Cooley in recent weeks, joining New London native Kris Dunn, one of top two point guards in the country.

The Dunn/Ledo duo is obviously a best case scenario for Providence and has them owning one of the top five recruiting classes to date in the national class of 2012.
