LAB Prep Camps Coming in June

The New England Recruiting Report has teamed with LAB Prep Camps to bring a premier teaching camp back to New England.

The LAB Prep camps debuted in 2017 and re-introduced a once extinct type of overnight camp that specialized not in quick hits of exposure but in long-form teaching. The overnight setting provided the time necessary to teach the details of the game while the limited field guaranteed maximum retention for all campers.

LAB Prep stands for leadership, academics, basketball and the camp provides preparation in all three areas.

With sessions for both high school and middle school players, the curriculum can provide building blocks to help each player prepare for the next level, not just on the court but also with regard to their work in the classroom and the community.

The LAB Prep Camp for high school students will take place on June 24th & 25th while the HoopRootz Lab Prep Camp will take place from June 25th - 27th. Both camps will held at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Gill, Massachusetts.

Enrollment is limited to just 40 campers in each session.

The camp director John Carroll has coached more Ivy League players over the past 10 years than any other coach in the country and has coached over 60 Division 1 players. He is currently head coach at Northfield Mount Hermon School. Co-Director James Cormier was an assistant coach at Dartmouth College where he developed and recruited back-to-back Ivy League Rookies of the Year. He is currently head coach at Cushing Academy.
