Kuakumensah Cuts List
Cedric Kuakumensah has trimmed his list to five schools, and is in the process of setting up official visits in September and October in hopes of making a decision before November’s early signing period.
“My final five are Brown, Penn, Elon, Holy Cross, and BU,” Kuakumensah said by text on Wednesday.
Kuakumensah will take an unofficial visit to Boston University this week after having already seen local campuses including Brown, Holy Cross, and others.
His official visits are likely to begin on the weekend of September 16th according to St. Andrew’s head coach Mike Hart, when Kuakumensah is currently scheduled to be on Holy Cross’ campus. He’ll likely make consecutive trips to his two Ivy League options on the following weekends with Penn and Brown coming on the weeks of September 22nd and September 29th respectively.
Kuakumensah’s official visits will round out in early to mid October with trips to Boston University and Elon still being finalized.
The St. Andrew’s big man is coming off a very successful summer that saw him send his stock all the way to the Atlantic 10 level. He walked away with over a dozen division I offers and only narrowed his list after taking a handful of unofficial visits this summer.
