Kloman Pledges to Brown

Pingree School and Metro Boston guard Felix Kloman announced his commitment to Brown on Wednesday, after making his initial verbal commitment to head coach Mike Martin almost two weeks ago.

Kloman is currently averaging 21 points per game for Pingree, fourth best in the North Shore area, but is known for his positional size and versatility.

"It's always been a dream of mine to play division I basketball while getting a great education and when Coach Martin called me and let me know he wanted me to be a part of the program, I knew that Brown would make that dream a reality," Kloman told NERR's Zack Sandberg. "I cannot wait for the opportunity to be coached by Coach Martin and his staff and I feel like they really know my game, having seen me play through good games and not so good games. I'm excited to get to work."

While Brown was the only known division I school to offer Kloman, Martin and his staff have thrived with their ability to identify and develop under-the-radar local prospects who can thrive in their system. Most notably Tamenang Choh, who is generously listed at 6-foot-5, but averaged 12.5 points and 8.6 rebounds last year as a sophomore.

Kloman is the third local prep prospect to commit to the Bears in the class of 2020 as he joins Cushing Academy forward Malachi Ndur and Northfield Mount Hermon guard Zach Taylor
