Kirkland D2 Bound
Winchendon School and Metro Boston's Keyshawn Kirkland accepted a scholarship offer from Franklin Pierce University on Wednesday less than 24 hours after the Ravens offered the unsigned senior.
He confirmed his decision via his twitter account.

Kirkland is a 6-foot-5 southpaw wing who can put the ball in the basket in a variety of different ways. His size and offensive versatility make him a very difficult match-up problem while he's also worked to develop his body over the course of the last twelve months.
Kirkland was named All-NEPSAC this past winter after helping Winchendon advance to the finals of the Class C tournament.
He's the fifth Metro Boston product to earn a scholarship in recent weeks as he joins Keegan Records (Colgate), T.J. Weeks (UMass), Travis Evee (VMI), and Tim Dawson (NYIT).
"I'm truly happy for Keyshawn and his family and glad to see he received a firm offer and enjoyed his visit," Metro Boston director Mauricio Vasquez said. "Last summer he broke his hand, which made his recruitment a bit difficult during the live period. He healed up and continued to improve and his hard work has paid off."
