Kingsley Debuts in CT’s Top Spot

There is a new name in New England and it is Putnam Science Academy big man Ugonna Kingsley, a seven-footer originally from Nigeria who most recently starred for the NBA Academy in Africa.

Kingsley first appeared on the scene this past summer with Team New England, competing in both Adidas events as well as the Hoop Group Future All-American Camp.

Since joining the Mustangs, he's now taken part in multiple sessions of the NEBL, the NPSI, and several other stand-alone games, showcasing both his unique rim protecting ability and still untapped potential.

Last weekend, Kingsley visited both UConn and Providence as he saw the Huskies take on Villanova and the Friars play Xavier. He also holds early offers from Seton Hall, Georgetown, Ole Miss, Georgia, Texas Tech, Clemson, Providence, and Washington State among others.

He is debuting in Connecticut 2023 rankings as the number one overall prospect and could make a similar case for tops overall in New England's 2023 class when those rankings are updated next week.
