A top ranked liberal arts college in the country, Williams is also a traditional basketball powerhouse within the NESCAC, having advanced to three NCAA division III Final Fours in the last six years.
Karpowicz has played with the Playaz for the last three years but took his game to another level this past spring and summer as he seemed to grow into his body, becoming more fluid and athletic, while establishing himself as an inside-out scoring threat.
He earned a variety of interest from schools in both the Ivy and Patriot Leagues in the process and figured to be someone who would get increasing division I interest during the course of his senior season.
Instead, he pledged to Williams on Monday, giving second year head coach Kevin App the type of recruit he can build around moving forward.
