Kanter Reclassifies

Wilbraham & Monson head coach Chris Sparks confirmed news from Kerem Kanter's twitter account from earlier this weekend that stated the forward would reclassify up to the class of 2013.

Kanter is the younger brother of Utah Jazz forward Enes Kanter.  He first arrived in New England last season, when he starred for the MacDuffie School, before shining with the New England Playaz on the grassroots circuit.

This season he transferred into Wilbraham & Monson where he has been a versatile part of one of New England's deepest frontlines.

Unsubstantiated reports claimed offers from Boston College and Pittsburgh alike earlier this winter, although it remains unclear which of his suitors will remain on him in the class of 2013.

Kanter's first outing in the class of 2013 was a productive one as he played very well, especially in the second half, in Wilbraham's hard fought loss to Worcester Academy on Sunday night at the Hoophall Classic.
