Jones Jumps at Colgate Opportunity
Worcester Academy & BTI Hoops forward Parker Jones recently announced his commitment to Colgate.
His solid positional size, knockdown three-point shooting off the catch/move, and ability to create when attacking closeouts attracted a good amount of division one schools. He had offers all the way up to the Atlantic 10 level.
Before coming to New England, Jones competed in the very well regarded Mission League in California for Loyola HS.
Over on the AAU circuit, he played for BTI Hoops. Jones had a standout summer, having a number of games where he hit five or more three-pointers.
So far, he has fit in well with his new squad in NEPSAC AA. Jones earned a starting spot while producing multiple double figure scoring outputs for the 5-0 Hilltoppers.
He became the fourth member of Worcester’s 2023 class who has finalized their plans to play division one college basketball next year.
