Sullivan Going to the Mountain State

Notre Dame West-Haven Prep & Connecticut Elite forward Isaiah Sullivan committed to the University of Charleston, a D2 school in West Virginia on Friday.

Before attending NDWH Prep, Sullivan played at Bassick HS. He made his presence felt for the Lions, earning a selection to the 2020/21 CHSCA Division 1 Boys’ Basketball All-State Team.

Sullivan made a solid adjustment to the increased level of competition when deciding to take a post-grad year at NDWH Prep. After being one of the Green Knights’ top scorers and rebounders, he was chosen as an Honorable Mention member on the 2022 AAA Power 5 Conference All-League Teams.

“Isaiah has grown tremendously since his arrival at Notre Dame,” said NDWH Prep head coach Nick DeFeo. He has put in the work to achieve a full scholarship and the ability to play at the D2 level.”

“Countless hours, early mornings, and plenty of growing pains have only made him stronger and ready for the next level. I am looking forward to seeing him develop his game and body even more at Charleston.”

Sullivan becomes the third member of the Green Knights’ 2022 class to finalize their college plans, while being the second who will be playing at the D2 level next season.
