Introducing the Big Apple Summer Showcase
For the first time since 2011, NERR will host a live event during the upcoming July evaluation period.
The Big Apple Summer Showcase will debut on Wednesday, July 13th and Thursday, July 14th - the first two days of the second week of the period - at the state of the art House of Sports facility in Ardsley, New York.
Run in collaboration with Zero Gravity Basketball, the event is the only team tournament held in the northeast region on those dates and will include an invite-only field of 32 teams in the 17u bracket and 16 teams in the 16u bracket.
The highly selective field ensures that all participating teams will feature scholarship level prospects and that each game will be competitive, making it a premium evaluation setting for college coaches.
The event will be played in bracket format with all participating teams guaranteed no less than three games and champions being crowned Thursday night.
The last time NERR held a team based live event during the NCAA evaluation period, it attracted over 100 college coaches for three consecutive years.
