Over the course of the next few weeks, the New England Recruiting Report will be profiling some of the most notable prospects set to arrive in the region this fall as part of the incoming prep school class.

Crawford will be transferring to Brewster Academy out of Legacy Early College in Greenville, SC. He actually began his high school career at Augusta Christian, located in Augusta, GA but competing in the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA).

Along the way, he has received offers from Xavier, Wichita State, Georgia State, LSU, Ole Miss, New Mexico State, Georgia, South Carolina, SMU, Boston College, Providence, and Stanford.

At Augusta Christian, he earned SCISA Region 1-AAA Player of the Year honors for his performance, averaging 20 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals, finishing first in all of SCISA-AAA for steals per game.

At Legacy Early College this past season, the team was ranked 7th in the state of South Carolina by the end of the season.

Crawford began the summer with The Skill Factory on the Nike EYBL Circuit. Some New Englanders are already aware of the pure scorer’s talents, as The Skill Factory faced Expressions Elite in Session I, and he tallied 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

He earned Nike EYBL Session II: Second Team honors for his performance, averaging 20 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals throughout the event. He was also named Breakout Player of the Session.

Following the two showcases, Crawford switched over to begin competing for Team Thad from Tennessee for the remainder of the EYBL Circuit. He continued his success, scoring 18 points in a win against JL3, as well as numerous additional high-scoring performances.

On August 14th, Crawford announced his intent to transfer to Brewster for the 2023-24 year.

He's just one of several talented new incoming Brewster Bobcats. It will be exciting to see how this group can mesh together for the 2023-24 season.
