Huskies Get Big Late Commitment

With UConn's post-season ban resulting in the departure of four frontcourt players off this year's roster, the Huskies landed a much needed impact recruit on Friday, scoring a commitment from Phil Nolan.

Nolan is an athletic six-foot-ten big man who should have an opportunity to make immediate contributions next season because of his size, mobility, and athleticism.

Nolan was heavily recruited by a variety of high-major programs and joins ESPNU 100 shooting guard Omar Calhoun from Christ the King High School (NY) in the Huskies incoming recruiting class.
