SAS Holiday Classic Recap

St. Andrew's School hosted the vast majority of the NEPSAC's AA schools this weekend for their Holiday Classic.

Kent Earns Second Place in Mercer Tournament

The Kent School traveled to The Hill School in Pennsylvania for the annual Mercer Tournament this weekend.  They came away scoring back-to-back wins and advancing all the way to the finals before ultimately falling to Peddie.  Travis Berry and Cam Collins were both named to the All-Tournament team.  Collins led the way with 15 points in the finals.  
 

Rivers Wins Holiday Tournament

The Rivers School defended their home turf this weekend, claiming the championship at their 43rd annaul Rivers Holiday Tournament.  They opened with a 78-34 win over Brewster's varsity B team behind 14 points and 10 rebounds from Andrew Kaufman and 10 points and 8 rebounds from Matt Prokop.  Carlin Hayman would come up with 16 points and 7 assists while Steve Carangelo would add 15 points and 6 rebounds in the semifinals.  Prokop would earn MVP honors by delivering 22 points and 15 rebounds in a 68-58 win over Pomfret in the final.  Carangelo would add 14 and 6.
