Holderness Point Guard Makes Decision
Mike Aron is headed to Dickinson College of the Centennial Conference. The Holderness point guard offered Coach Dennis Csensits and his staff a commitment after considering a variety of other suitors in the Patriot League, NE-10, NESCAC, and UAA. The addition is a significant one for Csensits and his staff as Aron is a true floor general with a terrific understanding of how to run a team.
The Centennial is an extremely competitive division III conference, very similar to the NESCAC and UAA, made up of schools from Pennsylvania and Maryland. With the likes of John Hopkins, Franklin & Marshall, and Gettysburg they are always major players in the D3 NCAA Tournament.
Aron is coming off of a very successful summer that saw him play well at a number of different stops. He starred for the New Hampshire Wildcats AAU Club as they turned in favorable results at the Rumble in the Bronx and West Virginia Harley Davidson Classic. He did equally well individually as he shined at Williams Prospect Camp and the UPenn Elite Prospect Camp.
It was at Williams where Aron got to know Csensits and his staff. Since then the Holderness guard has taken several visits to the Carlisle, Pennsylvania campus. Ultimately, he made the decision to play outside of the northeast so that he could get a different experience and attend a strong academic school.
