Gaines Picks Northwestern
Two years ago, Northwestern came into New England and landed arguably the region's best shooter in Aaron Falzon.
On Tuesday, they returned and this time pulled out perhaps the region's best defender and perimeter rebounder.
New Hampton School and Albany City Rocks swingman Anthony Gaines took to his twitter account on Tuesday to announce his commitment to the Wildcats and head coach Chris Collins on Tuesday.

Gaines visited Northwestern last weekend after previous trips to both Dayton and Butler.
The six-foot-four swingman, who is now in his third season with the Huskies, has seen his game grow by leaps and bounds over the years and was one of the biggest stock-risers from the recent Nike EYBL season when he led the City Rocks in both scoring and rebounding with 16 points and 9 boards per game.
A high level athlete who is known as much for his intangibles and work-ethic as he is his ability to play above the rim, Gaines is a truly elite perimeter rebounder, high level defender and slashing scorer.
He becomes the second NHS/City Rocks product to commit to a division I school in as many weeks following Kristers Zoriks' commitment to St. Mary's last week.
