Gabriel Makes Pick

Bradford Christian unsigned senior Gob Gabriel made a verbal commitment to Monmouth on Friday night, announcing his decision via his twitter account. 

Gabriel is the younger brother of former Kentucky forward and current Sacramento Kings forward Wenyen Gabriel. 

Like his older brother, Gob has a unique combination of size and playmaking ability that gives him a very high ceiling. 

He had wide-ranging recruitment over the years but ultimately committed to Monmouth after joining WrightWay Skills this spring and is now their 6th 2019 prospect to accept a full division I scholarship offer. 

Gabriel is also the second WrightWay product to commit to Monmouth head coach King Rice this spring as he follows Loomis Chaffee big man Jake Glezen who did so following the April live period.
