Putnam Science Academy 2017 guard Hamidou Diallo and Wilbraham & Monson 2016 forward Wenyen Gabriel are both heading to New York this week for the 10th annual Under Armour Elite 24 game.

The game will be televised live on ESPNU Saturday night, marking Gabriel's third appearance on national television this summer and Diallo's second after both played in Adidas Nations and Gabriel led his Mass Rivals squad to the finals of the Adidas Summer Championships.

This weekend's action gets underway late Thursday afternoon with the first of two practices, or live scrimmages, which is open only to credentialed media and NBA scouts. As of Tuesday, over 30 NBA credentials had been distributed.

The second practice session will take place on Friday morning followed by the UA Next Practice Session. The UA Next component is exclusively for the nation's top rising high school freshmen and will include Northfield Mount Hermon's John Carroll as one of the two head coaches. Friday's action will finish with a skills clinic and then the three-point and dunk contests.

Saturday's action will begin with the UA Next game at 4pm followed by the Elite 24 game at 7pm, live on ESPNU.

Diallo will compete on team "EZ Pass" which also includes Thon Maker and Josh Jackson among others and will be coached by lottery pick point guard Emmanuel Mudiay. Gabriel will be on team "Doo Be Doo" alongside Bam Adebayo and Rawle Alkins and coached by former lottery pick Brandon Jennings.
