Fallou Gueye Commits to Sacred Heart

In recent days, Putnam Science Academy/Team New England HGSL 2024 6’6” wing Fallou Gueye signed with Sacred Heart University, joining Putnam Science Academy teammate Mekhi Conner. He also received an offer from the College of Charleston…

The Senegal-native jumped onto our radar last season in his first year of American basketball with New Hampton, helping lead the Huskies to a 4th-place regular season finish and advancing to the semifinals of the NEPSAC-AAA Postseason Tournament.

The lefty wing was noted by our scouts as being a “long and fluid with an offensive skill set that gives off two-way intrigue.”

He has also been a part of the Senegalese national team in various events, dropping 12 in a win over Mali.

This past summer, Gueye helped lead Team New England to a 17U HGSL (Hoop Group) Championship, also earning numerous standout honors throughout the duration of the summer league.

Also during the summer, Gueye announced that he would be transferring to Putnam Science Academy to join the reigning back-to-back National Prep Champions. He has had a great start to the season, dropping 12 points in a recent win over Springfield Commonwealth Academy.

It should come as no surprise that we’ll be seeing him compete at the highest division of collegiate hoops. It will be exciting to track his progress during the next chapter of his career
