Fall Recruiting Period Arrives
Tuesday is the first day of the fall recruiting period, meaning college coaches can come watches players work out but only in their home high school gym and with players from that same school.
In other words, open gym season is here.
Putnam Science Academy and Wilbraham and Monson were both hosting college coaches first thing this morning for workouts.
Coaches from Quinnipiac, Fairfield, Monmouth, and Rider all attended the PSA early bird workout while Wilbraham was expecting a quite a crew of their own.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg as things will get very busy this afternoon with virtually every major prep program in New England set to begin their open gyms, if not today then certainly this week.
