Fairfield Scores Big Recruit
Fairfield added the fourth piece to their 2012 recruiting class this weekend with a commitment from Josip Mikulic, a highly skilled six-foot-ten big man.
Mikulic is a Croatian native who currently plays for North Broward Prep in Florida and runs with Nike Team Florida on the AAU circuit. He made a commitment to North Carolina State last February only to re-open his recruitment upon the coaching change two months later.
Mikulic is a highly skilled big man who shoots the ball with deep range and thus projects to be not only an ideal fit in Fairfield head coach Sydney Johnson's system but also a nice compliment to Amidou Sidibe, who committed to the Stags last week and is more of a traditional inside-out post player.
Sidibe and Mikulic join Marcus Gilbert and Coleman Johnson, two versatile six-foot-six swingmen, in Fairfield's 2012 recruiting class.
