Fairfield Pulls Third Commitment

First year Fairfield head coach Sydney Johnson solidified his future frontcourt on Monday with a commitment from Amadou Sidibe, a six-foot-eight post player from Cardinal Hayes High School in New York.

A product of the New York Gauchos AAU program, Sidibe is a West African native who has only been playing organized basketball for three years and already shows great talent and potential.  He'll be able to provide a low post presence from day one in Fairfield, but projects as someone who will continue to improve throughout the course of his four year career.

Sidibe becomes the third player to commit to the Stags in 2012 joining six-foot-eight forward Coleman Johnson from Paul VI Catholic in Virginia and six-foot-six small forward Marcus Gilbert from Academy of New Church in Pennsylvania.
