It began with the ESPN 25 on Tuesday which ranked the top 25 sophomores in the country. Wilbraham and Monson guard Mustapha Heron maintained his spot among the nation’s elite, coming in at the 13th spot.
Next up was the ESPN 60 on Wednesday, where Tilton guard Terance Mann continued to represent New England, landing in the 40th spot.
The much anticipated ESPN 100 was released on Thursday with plenty of familiar local names on the list.
Brewster Academy forward Chris McCullough fell to the 16th spot but continued to be New England’s top ranked player while Goodluck Okonoboh held tight in the 21st spot. The region’s third ranked prospect, Kimball Union Academy forward Abdul-Malik Abu, closed the gap by making a jump all the way up to the 30th spot.
Cushing Academy point guard Kaleb Joseph made his debut among the top 50 prospects in the country, coming in at the 47th spot. Fairfield Prep center Paschal Chukwu wasn’t far behind at 56 after making a significant jump up the rankings. Brewster Academy guard Jared Terrell also moved up a couple of spots, finishing at 76.
