Diallo Starring in A.C.
Putnam ScienceÂs incoming sophomore Hamidou Diallo picked up an offer from Cal State Bakersfield Thursday night while running with his NYC Jayhawks team in Atlantic City.
That certainly wonÂt be the last offer for the six-foot-three guard as Diallo was the talk of the event on Thursday night, earning rave reviews from every coach who stuck around for the nightcap at ÂLive in the A.C.Â
Diallo made his New England debut this spring, starring with the Jayhawks at the Memorial Day Super 16 Showcase. A month later he was one of the top performances at the Elite 75 Showcase.
Thursday night, he had his total game going as he got into the lane, finished above the rim, and showed flashes of brilliance with fake spin moves, breakdown crossovers, and hard dunks with both hands. Â
Diallo previously starred at Browne High School in Flushing, New York, averaging over 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 steal per game last season as a sophomore. The long and athletic guard has grown two inches in the last year and is now set to repeat his sophomore year upon arriving at PSA. Â
HeÂll join a talented 2017 class in New England which already includes the likes of Tomas Murphy, Jermaine Samuels, Tremont Waters, Kimani Lawrence, Jerome Desrosiers, and Makai Ashton-Langford among others.
