Diallo Leaves NPS with Another Offer

Putnam Science Academy sophomore Hamidou Diallo was another prospect who helped to take his recruitment to a new level at last weekend's National Prep Showcase.

Diallo, the New York native who arrived at PSA this fall, began to make a name for himself late last spring and has seen his recruiting stock skyrocket ever since.

The playmaking guard picked up his first offers from Fairfield, Iona, Quinnipiac, and Cal Bakersfield this summer. St. Peter's and Duquesne offered after seeing fall workouts in September while Minnesota and Temple became the first high-major programs to offer shortly afterward.

On Friday, Diallo scored a team high 21 points on 8-16 shooting from the floor and 3-8 shooting from behind the three-point arc. He also added 7 rebounds including 4 on the offensive end to lead PSA to an 82-71 win over IMG Academy.

Iowa State was one of the 50+ college programs to have coaches on hand on Friday alone and following the game the Cyclones became the most recent school to offer the talented sophomore.
