Cushing’s Ndur Ivy Bound
Cushing Academy big man Malachi Ndur announced his verbal commitment to Brown on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-8 big man is in his second season in the New England prep ranks after arriving from Canada last year.
He helped Cushing return to the NEPSAC finals last year and should be poised to be among the leaders of a team again expected to be among the favorites in Class AA of the NEPSAC this year.
He had landed offers as high as the Atlantic 10 before making his decision, which he announced via twitter.

Ndur is a skilled frontcourt prospect with a super soft natural touch, both around the rim and stretching the floor. He's vastly improved his conditioning over the course of the last year, and gotten himself into the best shape of his life.
At Brown, he projects as someone capable of playing either the four or five spots, pulling opposing big men away from the rim with his shooting range, and thriving within offensive structure.
Ndur played his grassroots basketball with the Northern Kings.
