CT High School Hoops Top 20 Classic Event Preview
The first annual CT High School Hoops Top 20 Classic will be held on Tuesday, November 20th at 7:00pm in the New Britain High School Gymnasium.
The line-up of talent on hand is certainly impressive with all of the top local players in the class of 2008 expected to be in action including: David Gibbs (Master’s School – UMass); Allan Chaney (New London High School – Florida); Chris Prescott (Northwest Catholic High School – St. Joseph’s); Devin Hill (St. Luke’s School – DePaul); Stanford Dulaire (Watkinson School – Sacred Heart); Nick Greenbacker (East Catholic High School – Sacred Heart); Greg Mangano (Notre Dame High School – Yale); Shane Gibson (Killingly High School – Sacred Heart); RJ Evans (Norwich Free Academy – Holy Cross); B.J. Monteiro (Crosby High School); and Zach Dugas (St. Luke’s School). E.O. Smith’s Ryan Olander has also been extended an invitation.
The field in the class of 2009 will be lead by Weaver High School’s junior guard Tyrone Gardner. Also expected to be in action are Darryl McCoy from Hartford Public and Adrian Satchell and Steven Samuels from Windsor High School. Final rosters will be released later this week.
The game will tip at 7:00pm and will consist of two twenty minutes halves. The game is open to the public.
