Costello Already a Shooting Star
Matt Costello, a 7th grade basketball star out of Lynnfield, Massachusetts, has a reputation for being a dangerous long range shooter. He has hit many big shots under pressure, including numerous games where he has made 6-8 baskets from beyond the three-point arc. Matt has a very quick release with excellent shot rotation and exceptional range for a 13 year old, as he is equally dangerous from a couple of feet beyond the line. While his shooting ability received ratings of a "10" or "Excellent" at several camps this past Summer, Matt also possesses diversified scoring ability from both the point and shooting guard positions, as evidenced by his numerous 30+ point games in AAU and travel basketball. Matt appears to be on pace for a great future in the game.
