Cooley is Ivy Bound
Beaver Country Day and Expressions Elite's Aaron Cooley made a verbal commitment to Brown University on Monday, announcing his decision from the Shelburne Community Center.
The Roxbury native came up the ranks with the Boston Bobcats program before playing with BABC last year and Expressions this year.
The 6-foot-5 souothpaw has both extended and polished his perimeter skill-set within the last year and was on the verge of a breakout spring and summer before the pandemic shut down recruiting.
He is the second local product to commit to the Brown admission process in the class of 2021, joining St. Sebastian's Lyndel Erold.
