Commitment Catch-Up: Turner-Morris Staying in New England

Khalea Turner-Morris came to New England for a post-graduate year in hopes of growing his recruitment and now he'll stay in New England for the next for years.

The Louisiana made a verbal commitment to UMass earlier this week as newly appointed head coach Matt McCall continues to develop various pipelines into the home region.

The New Hampton School big man, who visited Saint Louis and Pacific in recent weeks, provides a big body at 6-foot-9 and 245 pounds as well as a physical interior presence who was one of the best big men left available on the road.

His pledge follows commitments from local New England products, Curtis Cobb and Jaylen Brantley, who will both be transferring in to UMass next year.

Turner-Morris in the 9th member of New Hampton School's 2017 class to finalize his recruitment as the Huskies now have players moving on to Arizona State, Northwestern, St. Mary's, Cornell, Dartmouth, Bentley, Amherst, American, and now UMass.
