Commitment Catch-Up: ND’s White MAAC Bound

Canisius reached into New England for their second commitment in the class of 2017, picking up Notre Dame West Haven's Jalanni White.

White is a 6-foot-7 hybrid four-man who starred next to Tremont Waters this season and helped Notre Dame to an undefeated regular season in the CIAC. He's long and athletic, extremely bouncy, and gradually developing his game facing the basket.

The Golden Griffins were the first of three division I schools to offer White a scholarship back in October and continued to recruit him since then.

White previously played his grassroots basketball with USAD but last weekend he ran with Juice All-Stars on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit  just prior to his commitment.
