Commitment Catch-Up

Derek Neal and Bryan Little to Regis College
Regis College Head Coach Nate Hager has certainly upgraded his roster’s athleticism with the additions of Neal and Little.  Both players are products of successful high school programs as Neal comes from Brighton High School in Massachusetts while Little recently graduated from Northwest Catholic High School in Connecticut.  Neal is a player who should be able to put points up on the board as soon as he arrives on campus.  He flat out knows how to score the ball and can do so in a variety of ways.  Little is a player who is versatile on both ends of the floor, as he can both lock down the opposition’s best scorer and create his own shot on the other end of the floor.  Both players should see immediate playing time at Regis next season.

Christian Marghella will play at Bard
The guard from St. Mark’s School is on his way to Bard College.  And few players could be as well prepared as Marghella has spent the last four years competing with a St. Mark’s program that is almost as talented as some college programs.  His ability to make good decisions with the ball as well as knock down jumpers from long range will undoubtedly benefit Bard next season.  Overall, he is a player with maturity beyond his years who will do well at the liberal arts college.

Tilton Duo Announces Plans
The Tilton School has announced commitments from their remaining unsigned players in the class of 2007.  Adam Cowie plans to attend Babson College while Michael Flemming will play at Suffolf University.  Both guards saw a good amount of playing time in the Tilton backcourt this year.  Cowie possesses great size and strength for a perimeter player that should serve as an immediate asset upon arriving at Babson.  Flemming is a New Hampshire native who is best known for his marksmanship from downtown although he has shown that he is capable of scoring off the dribble on occasion as well.  Both players had multiple opportunities at the division III level for next season.
