Canterbury’s Powell NE-10 Bound
Late last week, on the eve of the Northeast Hoops Festival, Canterbury School post-graduate forward Bryan Powell made a verbal commitment to Pace University.
His commitment came less than two weeks after the Northeast 10 school offered him a scholarship.
Powell took to his twitter account to confirm his decision.

Powell graduated from Pine Bush High School in eastern New York where he averaged 21 points and 10 rebounds as a senior and led his squad to back-to-back Section 9 Class AA championships.
After a productive summer with the Early Risers program, Powell continued to take his game and recruitment to new levels during his post-graduate year. He earned All-New England honors in Class B while leading Canterbury to the top overall seed in the post-season tournament.
The 6-foot-6 forward is consistently productive, ultra-efficient, and yet still very versatile with inside-out offensive tools.
He joins Hamden Hall forward Christian Adams as the second NEPSAC product to commit to Pace in the class of 2019.
