Canterbury’s Holloway Picks CCSU
Canterbury School guard TJ Holloway announced his commitment to Central Connecticut State University and first year head coach Patrick Sellers over the weekend.
Holloway attended Greens Farms Academy before transferring to Canterbury in the fall of 2020 and reclassifying to 2022. He also spent time on the grassroots circuit with both Albany City Rocks and Connecticut Elite.
Holloway made a significant impact in his first full season with the Saints this past winter. He helped them to a 21-5 record while winning a Tri-State League Championship and making it to the NEPSAC Class B Title Game.
“TJ is full of potential.” Canterbury School head coach Brian Baudinet said. “He has excellent speed and jumping ability. He has gotten stronger and as he continues to gain more strength, he will play with increased physicality.”
“His size, athleticism, and versatility also allow him to play several positions offensively, and guard multiple positions defensively.”
He becomes the fourth member of Canterbury’s 2022 class to finalize his recruitment and second member to commit to a division one school.
