BU Lands Latest Steal
Boston University landed their latest huge commitment on Wednesday, receiving a verbal pledge from six-foot-eleven SMU transfer Blaise Mbargorba.
Mbargorba redshirted this season at SMU after injuring his shoulder in the fall but was still heaviliy pursued upon announcing his transfer, receiving offers all the way up to the Big East Conference.
A graduate of the Peddie School and a former standout with the New Jersey Roadrunners on the AAU trail, Mbargorba joins the likes of Mo Watson, John Papale, and Cedric Hankerson to become the latest recruit to spurn higher level recruitment in order to join Boston University.
Known primarily for his shot-blocking ability, Mbargorba should be able to patrol the paint like few others in the Patriot League when he becomes eligible for the 2014-2015 season.
Mbargorba joins Hankerson and Dylan Haines in Boston University's incoming recruiting class.
