Brown Picks Miami on ESPN
Vermont Academy and BABC guard Bruce Brown announced his commitment to Miami on Wednesday, live on the set of ESPN's Recruiting Nation.
Brown ultimately chose the Hurricanes over Indiana but also visited Xavier and Purdue while taking multiple unofficial visits to UMass. His original list of scholarship offers included close to 15 high-major programs from across the country.
The 6-foot-4 guard has taken his game to new levels in each of the last three seasons, establishing himself as not just one of the best in New England but as a top 30 national prospect in one of the most talent rich classes in recent history.
Now, he's headed to the ACC where he's expected to have an opportunity to play immediate minutes for Miami, but before that he'll lead Vermont Academy in their quest to capture the NEPSAC AA championship as their season gets underway Friday at the National Prep Showcase.
