Will Brady 2017

Vermont Academy senior guard Will Brady is headed to Tufts University next season to continue his basketball career in the NESCAC.

A Connecticut native who spent two seasons in Saxtons River, Brady has improved exponentially over that time and proven himself to be a valuable contributor at a very high level of competition.

He helped VA earn the 2016 NEPSAC AA title and followed that up with a second consecutive twenty win campaign in 2016-2017.

Brady is an extremely heady player who understands how to operate in offensive structure. He's a very good passer and much improved outside shooter with an undeniably high learning curve.

"Coach Sheldon is getting a player who is an excellent decision maker, tremendous on-ball defender, and a consistent shot maker," Vermont Academy head coach Alex Popp said. Will did a lot of winning during his time at Vermont Academy and we anticipate that his winning ways will continue at Tufts. We couldn't be happier for Will and his family."

Vermont Academy now has players in their 2017 going on to continue their basketball careers at Butler, Louisville, VCU, Jacksonville, Vermont, Colby, and Tufts.

Below are some of Brady's recent highlights.
