Bosworth earns scholarship

Tilton School & Team Spartans point guard Torran Bosworth announced his commitment last week to Franklin Pierce, a Division II school in New Hampshire.

Bosworth burst onto the scene as a freshman at East Longmeadow HS, leading the team in scoring during the 2017-18 season. He made the move to Tilton in the fall of 2018, becoming a member of the 2022 class. Bosworth had an impressive final season for the Rams, earning a selection to the All-NEPSAC Class AA team.

“Torran had an tremendous four year career at Tilton,” said Tilton head coach Mike Byrnes. He has scored over 1000 points, and won a handful of games playing a very competitive NEPSAC schedule.

“He is going to be a nice piece to Coach Chadbourne’s recruiting class, and I’m sure he’s going to have a great four year career playing in the NE-10. Torran is a hard working, respectful, and intelligent young man. I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to coach him.”

Bosworth is one of two members of Tilton’s 2022 class who will be playing in the NE-10 next season.
