Ben Eisendrath Commits to Harvard
Last week, South Kent/BTI Hoops/USA U18 Maccabi 2024 6’3” point guard Ben Eisendrath announced his commitment to Harvard. He recently came to New England to join South Kent as a post-grad for the upcoming season, but he is now set to also remain in the region for the next chapter of his basketball career.
During the summer before his senior year, he earned a spot on the USA U18 Maccabi team for the 2022 World Games in Israel, which includes the top recruits of Jewish descent from around the country.
During the following school season, Eisendrath had an incredible senior year, averaging close to 20 points for Oakwood HS (CA) and shooting over 40% from the field, helping lead Oakwood deep into the CIF-3A playoffs. He was named CIF Division 3A Player of the Year for his performance throughout the season.
In May, he announced that he would be transferring to South Kent for the 2023-24 season. He continued playing AAU with BTI Hoops throughout this past spring/summer season, earning his first Division I offer from Brown this past July.
It will be exciting to watch Ben Eisendrath take on the elite NEPSAC Class-AAA conference this year before he heads to Cambridge to join Harvard for the 2024-25 season.
