#BAS NERR-TV with RI Elite & Central Mass Swarm
NERR-TV was live at last week's Big Apple Showcase and able to catch-up with a number of top prospects from throughout the tournament.
Two teams that made waves in the field were Rhode Island Elite and Central Mass Swarm.
Rhode Island Elite rattled off three consecutive wins on opening day and continued to prove themselves against the top programs in New England and beyond.
Tedrick Wilcox and Frankyn Batista both walked away with new offers while Manny Romar had a breakout performance on Sunday. Program veterans Jay-Juan Hayes and Steven Lora continued to show skill and leadership as they've helped build the program from the ground floor to where it is now. The addition of Aireus Raspberry from earlier this spring has also proven to be a big one for RI Elite this summer.
Central Mass Swarm earned the role of Cinderella at the 2018 Big Apple Showcase as they went for consecutive upset wins on Wednesday night to advance to Thursday's quarterfinals. Mike DiMartino had the opportunity to speak to Michael Rabinovich, Stephon Baxter, and Samuel Adusei along the way.
