BABC announces 3rd annual Select Tour
Boston Amateur Basketball Club (BABC) will host the 3rd Annual BABC v. Mass Select Tour this coming week. Four games will take place across Massachusetts; facing the state’s best MIAA high school players against BABC. Each region (South, West, Central, and North) will put their best Freshmen/Sophomores/Juniors v. BABC Sophomores and their best Seniors v. BABC Juniors. All players were nominated and selected to participate through a panel of High School Coaches.
In addition, BABC will honor Quincy, MA great, Coach Joe Amorosino with the 2016 BABC Lifetime Achievement Award. Joe spent eighteen years coaching basketball in Quincy at the Sterling Middle School, North Quincy High School, and Quincy High School. A ceremony to honor Coach Amorosino will take place on Wednesday March 16th at the ALBA Restaurant in Quincy at 7PM.
