Aronson Makes Pick
Rivers School and Middlesex Magic guard Tyler Aronson made a verbal commitment to Tufts University on Tuesday pending acceptance of his early decision application.
Aronson is a high level athlete with a solid skill set and especially dangerous pull-up game who will be an immediate impact player in the NESCAC.
"Tyler was an integral part of one of the most succesful seasons in Middlesex Magic history," Magic director and head coach Michael Crotty Jr said. "He has become an excellent play maker and uses ball screens extremely well to create for his teammates and himself. His instincts and quickness make him an excellent defender. Over and above his ability as a player, he is one of the toughest, hardest working and most unselfish players I have coached."
The Magic won numerous championships this year including the Northeast Hoops Festival, Pittsburgh Jam Fest, Memorial Day Super 16 Showcase, and Big Apple Showcase.
