Ager-Lamar Lands St. John’s Offer
Arkel Ager-Lamar, who recently announced he would transfer from St. Joseph’s High School in Connecticut to St. Thomas More School and reclassify to 2016, picked up an offer from St. John’s yesterday while on their campus for an unofficial visit.
The six-foot-five swingman had a strong summer with back-to-back strong performances in Springfield and has followed that up by continuing to generate some buzz in what is typically a quiet month of August with strong showing at the Providence Elite Camp, Scott Hazelton Basketball Camp and the Greater Hartford Pro-Am.
Lamar-Ager tweeted a picture of himself and St. John’s head coach Steve Lavin following his visit.
